The Rodeway to put it mildly is a dump! Don't waste your money. The rooms are small and we wre in the ocean front building. That part was OK, but management only puts 40 watt bulbs in the lamps and it was very dark. We had to go out and buy higher watt light bulbs in order to see anything. We put the 40 watt bulbs back in when we left and took ours home. Our room and the hallway outside our room were very humid as our room was right next to the indoor pool.

Got a great price for an Ocean View Room. The beach is steps away. Location is excellent with just having to walk about two blocks to the boardwalk. There is no late noise. The only problem that I saw was that the rooms need to be renovated. I felt as if I was in a hotel in the 1990's with the art on the walls and the old box t.v. set. Great for families. I would stay here again.

The Rodeway Inn was what I expected from a cheap beach motel. The property was old but clean and geared toward families so there was no loud partiers there. The Inn has two buildings, one is oceanside and one is across the parking lot and not on the beach, this is the one we stayed in so though we could see the beach/ocean through two buildings, we weren't really "oceanfront". The one big complaint I have is the first morning we were there, I left the room for 10 minutes to get coffee for my husband and me and left my sleeping family in the room, it was about 9:30 in the morning. When I came back, the maid was cleaning the room and my family was sitting out of the balcony waiting for her to get done in the room. My daughter said that the maid came into the room, woke her up and told her that she had to clean the room right now. I have never had a maid do that in any room I've ever stayed at before. Who wakes up a family when they are on vacation and tells them they have to get up?!!! That was totally ridiculous!

I would never stay at Rodeway Inn again. The maids were very good. The first night we stayed we went out on the belcony it was dirty, but wasn't to bad. The next morning we got up, vomit, clothes, broken glass all over our belcony, went to management told him, said he would have maintance clean it up when they came in at 8. So we went to the beach, came back arround 11, still was a mess. My husband took the ice chest and kept throwing water on to try and get rid of the vomit. Next day we were leaving told the manager again he tried to say that I said the pool, why would I care about the pool area. We paid extra money to have ocean view and couldnt use it. We had a bunch of young kids above us. Not a place for kids.
