Nice for a family getaway on a budget

We spend a winter weekend here, only an hour from home, but enjoyed our weekend - nice pool, large clean room, our "side view" room had a terrific corner balcony and super view of the ocean. We'll stay there again. The pool was nice and warm, hot tub nice also, despite the fountain feature not working.

06/13/2010Stayed there last year ..dump..room smelled found empty soda can under bed 1st night still there day 4..maid service terrible ..room dirty ..pool area dirty the place is ...
stayed there last year ..DUMP..room smelled found empty soda can under bed 1st night still there day 4..maid service terrible ..room dirty ..pool area dirty the place is totaly out dated save your money stay some where else .. still mad enough 1 year later to write this review..going to be stayaing at the Hilton next door this year DUMP DUMP DUMP

Our family stay was extremely nice. The room was great. Housekeeping was very slow, sometimes not cleaning our room until after 2pm. This is unacceptable as everyone is trying to get ready to go out by then. The desk service was very rude, condescending, and unnecessary. I also caught them lying to people coming in and asking questions about room readiness for check-in or reservation availabilities. We sat in the lobby for quite a few hours waiting for our room to be available so we heard many conversations. I could not believe the lies they told. Otherwise I love staying at this hotel. The location is great, the rooms are nice, the pool is great, the beach is nice, the restaurant is great, and the parking is superb.
