Las Vegas Marriott offers junior suite accommodations off the Vegas strip at much better prices than any hotel on the strip. This is the second time I've stayed at this location on high season and rates are always reasonable. The beds are great with awesome pillows! I am a world traveler and I’ve stayed at many hotels and this one I do recommend.

First time for me in any Marriott in Las Vegas (there are 15, I heard). Also first time I ever had a suite. First impression you'll have is the well-swept lobby & the friendly, well-scrubbed staff behind the counter. The suite is spacious & very clean... a living room with a sofa & chairs, a TV, a desk with plenty of outlets; a bedroom (with its own TV) connected by French doors at a surprising curved angle, which leads to the vanity sink & closet passageway, itself leading to the bathroom with an extra door back to the living room. Although not the bargain you might wish for, being several blocks east of the Strip, it worked for me. Very close to the Wynn & the Encore (and to the lesser attractions of the Riviera & Circus Circus). Not the greatest-looking neighborhood (lots of vacant lots nearby), it never felt unsafe either. Strangers tended to keep about their business & the police patrolled every so often. The breakfast buffet (the only food I had there) was outstanding, not particularly exorbitant by LV standards – fresh fruit, salmon & natural-tasting scrambled eggs were most welcome. I sat at the bar, and the nice lady working it offered to make eggs to order (omelettes, etc.) in lieu of the scrambled (I declined). One particularly nice touch was the iced water available to any guest or visitor opposite the elevators; the water was in a large transparent container with layered slices of fresh fruit wedged between slabs of ice. One disappointment: no free Wi-Fi. You pay a one-time fee of $* via Ethernet in your room; this enables the Wi-Fi. Could have been worse. Kudos to the employee named B who found & turned in a credit card I dropped!

I was there for a conference in April 2009. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The rooms were cleaned and beds were made daily. Rooms were clean and spacious, beds were very comfortable. 2 blocks from the strip and a block or less from the monorail. This was my first time in Vegas and I had a great time and it was partially due to my stay at the Marriot Las Vegas. I would definitely stay there again and will also recommend this hotel to friends and family.

If you enjoy hitting the town and then coming back to a serene atmosphere, then this hotel is the place for you. Location is within walking distance of the strip. The bed was super comfortable, and the suite was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly, and the breakfast, although a bit pricey (but not by Vegas standards) had many good options. Only negative was that the height of the showerhead was too low. Despite that, we recommend a stay here.

The towels were dirty and stained and I found a clump of black hairs in one of them ( I have blonde hair) and the sheets as well as the pillow cases were stained. I love walking, but it wasn't close to the strip at all. The workout room is also not very clean.
