Room was clean, overall hotel was not too bad. Indoor pool was great for the kids. A little peeved that you pay a $* per day resort fee that doesnt even cover the fitness center. Fitness center cost an aditional $* a day. Dont mind paying a resort fee - but in this case, I didnt know what exactly I was paying for. Buffet was averaged, but when you pay to enter - they write the amount of your tip on the receipt and hang it off the side of your table. To me it looked like they were showing your server her tip before she/he even did anything. Maybe this is normal for Reno, but seemed tacky to me. Kid's arcade was slightly below average.

The hotel is consistent in service and quality. The rooms are big, well appointed and quiet. The front dest staff is quick and efficient. I love the shuttle service to the airport. The rates are really reasonable and I enjoy having the parking available. Compared to other casino hotels, the Atlantis is first rate. I like the fact that it's not downtown. It's easy to access. Views from the tower rooms are dramatic. Love this hotel

Hotel staff helpful and efficient. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Quiet even though we stayed during spring break. Did not have time to experience the spa as we found ourselves drawn to Lake Tahoe due to the close proximity to Reno. Will visit again so that we can enjoy the spa. Only drawback was the buffet food was not all that good, however, that was not an issue for us as there were lots of other options both on property and off property. I will absolutely stay again.

My husband, daughter and I went to Reno over Thanksgiving to meet up with family. We chose the Atlantis because of the cheaper prices (I assume they are cheaper because they're off the main strip - which was very nice for us). We drove up from south bay - forgetting that we would have to drive through the mountains, so the 4.5 hour trip ended up taking 11 hours :-( leaving us tired and frustrated when we arrived. The front desk staff was neutral (neither friendly nor rude) when I checked in, however, they were quite rude when my husband asked if he could use a cart for our luggage (only bell boys can touch those - we would have to wait for him). I also thought I'd booked a king size bed, but was told we could upgrade for an extra charge - two queens were fine! The beds were nice, room was generally quiet (hallway noise), and the buffet was good. I ordered room service for breakfast and while it was good, not worth $* for a plate of pancakes and juice!! (We found a nice diner near the hotel, but they weren't open on Thanksgiving). The indoor pool was very nice - small enough that it didn't feel like an echo-y nightmare, but big enough to accommodate everyone who wanted to swim. (also, it felt very comfortable with nice "landscaping" and waterfall off to the side) I wish I didn't have to walk through the casino with my 14month old to get to the elevators / rooms, but we were staying in a casino - so what would you expect!
