This hotel was not up to cleaning standards I ask for a fridge and microwave to be brought up to my room and there was mold in the fridge and the microwave was dirty. I had a double bed room and it was very small. The only thing that was ok about this hotel was the complementary breakfast that was served in the morning, and that needed to be watched. I would not stay here again!

Rooms seemed to be updated. The rest of the hotel a little scary. Peeling paint, ceilings that looked like thay were going to come down. had to use the stairs after the elevator either didnt move or kept going to the wrong floor, not good. Loveseat in the suite was wicker, what is that? Not very comfortable. We stayed at the hotel for a family wedding it was booked based on there being a shuttle to take us to and from the reception. Upon checking in on the day of the wedding we were informed they do not have a shuttle on Sundays. That was the only reason we were staying at that hotel, disappointing. Front desk staff ok, nothing to write home about.

We paid a little extra for a lakeside room, and did indeed have a lovely view...plus, the motel is about as close as it gets to the waterfront, and easy acccess to scenic North Lake Drive.

The hotel itself is nice on the outside with indoor/outdoor swimming. I could tell they did some remodeling in the inside of the main lobby, but overall the hotel still looks old-fashioned in many areas. The rooms has had some remodeling done, but again the bathroom besides the tub needed an overhaul including the ceiling. Maybe if they finish everything it would be a nice place to stay because the staff was friendly and helpful.
