The house keeping was not good at all....found staines on comforter, There was a soda can top on the floor after the room was supposed to be cleaned and we didnt bring any cans to our room....we only received 2 face towels per day...I just expected more for the price...

My wife and I stayed at the hotel only. We do not gamble, but we got a good deal on the hotel while we were on vacation in Memphis. I am not pleased with the way they handled our issues. Throughout the week at about 2:00 A.M. there was a loud, high-pitched noise outside our room for some reason. I told the attendant when we checked out, and she said that she would give us a zero (0) balance to compensate us. They charge a * dollar fee each night for whatever reason. However, I just checked my bank statement, and instead of taking that off the balance, she actually charged us the * dollars. I called twice. In the middle of explaining my situation I was interrupted by the person on the phone. I was transferred three times I think. The manager said she would call me back. I waited an hour, and did not receive a phone call back from her. I called back and had to leave a message. I would not recommend this hotel. However, they had a great hot tub and swimming pool area.

Excellent hotel; nice staff, good buffet, worst slot pay back I've experienced any where in the country. I travel often on short trips to relax and play video keno etc. The hotel casino's in Tunica (not just the GoldStrike) are extremely "tight" and I saw very few (only a couple) of small winners in four days of hard play and making the rounds of almost all the casino's in the area. If you are going to "play slots" (there isn't much else to do there) go some place else as these casino's are more than just the average "greedy" they are unbelievably "tight".

Room was ok, but I honestly didn't spend much time in my room. I spent most of my time on the casino floor and the casino floors of the other casinos that are very nearby. It is in an excellent location with the Sheraton Casino, Bally's, and the Horseshoe all within walking distance. There is a safe in the room to keep possessions secure.
It isn't the nicest stay in town, but for the price, it is an excellent value. -
