My fiance and I recently spent the weekend in Milwaukee to visit our family and Irish Fest. Despite our family staying at the Hilton, we opted to try out the Hyatt Regency. I will never make this mistake again. While the room was decent, the service we received was the worst I have ever received from anyone in customer service. Two days after we checked out the hotel decided to charge my credit card $250. When I called to find out what it was about, I was told that it was because we had been smoking in the room. We absolutely had not been smoking! I protested and protested, citing my severe asthma as evidence that I would do no such thing, but nothing worked. I am now disputing it with my credit card company and ready to file a complaint in Milwaukee County Circuit Court if it is not resolved soon. I am so disappointed and recommend that no one take the chance that this will happen to them: avoid the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee.

I reserved this hotel because it was close to the Bradley Center where we were attending a concert. I also booked this hotel becuase it had smoking rooms, which I requested as well as early check in. When we got there we were informed they only had 4 smoking rooms in the whole hotel. They changed our room for the next night but it took 3 hours to get the room changed. If they don't have smoking don't advertise it on your website.

Had an overnight, mid-week stay. The hotel was great. Everyone was friendly, especially the valets, who gave us good directions. The hotel is very convenient to a lot of things in the downtown area. The only problem we had was on check-in we noticed that we didn't have a shower curtain. We informed the front desk and it was taken care of right away. Other than that, the room was clean and in order. We didn't dine at the hotel, nor did we use the business or fitness centers, because of the nature of the trip.
