service was great rooms clean pool good had excellent stay lobby resteraunt kinda pricey but good food nowhere else to eat in ft lee if travelling by ehicle can get confusing if not from area as hotel is right on gerorge washington bridge entrance plus u have to do u turns quite aways down number for to get back kinda pain in the ass especially if very busy on 95 entering bridge not very sight worthy as well but still pleased with stay.

Our family booked 3 rooms since we were in NJ for a family celebration. Check in took at least 1/2 hour. The pool had no clean towels and it was difficult to find someone to request towels. When I finally found someone, they gave us 3 towels for 7 people. Two of our rooms had no towels until hours after check-in and one had soaking wet carpeting leading into the bathroom . My 3 yr old granddaughter started throwing up at 2AM. My daughter called the front desk to let them know ahe put the soiled sheets outside the door and needed clean sheets. After 1/2 hour, she called again and was told they didn't have any sheets and not to put the soiled ones outside the door! What kind of a hotel can't accommodate with this type of an emergency? We found out the next day, after spending hours at the local hospital, that she was sick due to a concussion she received when she fell at the pool (tiles were extremely slippery). Since the sheets were outside the door, housekeeping wanted to clean the room at 10 the next morning and didn't understand enough English when my daughter kept telling them she hadn't checked out yet. Carpets in the lobby and dining areas were absolutely filthy. Most of the staff did not understand English. One of my daughters was charged over $* for a cup of tea because it was 9:05AM, 5 minutes past the cut off time at the morning set up in the lobby. Everyone at our family gathering heard about our experience. Needless to say, we will never book at a Hilton or Double Tree again!

While the rooms were great, the amenities were lacking. The pool was supposed to be open by the time we arrived and it was still closed for remodeling. The bell hops were hard to find and I had to go looking for them. When we called to get directions to the hotel the person that waited on us via telephone was very hard to understand. We ended up having to stop for directions on our own. on check out I had to call down to the front desk three times before they came for our luggage. Service was lacking.

furnitures and carpet are shabby and needs major renovation. we had a function here, JOSE, bnqt mgr, is extrmly rude & of no help. u need to wait 1-2 hrs. to get ur shuttle srvc or p/u. stay somewhere else.
