We requested a Downtown Disney view, and our sixth floor corner room was perfect for watching the WDW fireworks after a tiring day in the park. The room was superb! The "Andiamo" restaurant was perfect in quality and comparable in price. We were also impressed by the food shop, whereby we purchased our breakfast items (cereals, juice, etc.) before heading home.

My husband and I are newlyweds from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. We decided to go to Disney World for our Honeymoon! Upon checking in the staff recognized we were on our honeymoon and when we got back to our room from our first day lounging around at downtown disney there was a bottle of champagne waiting on ice for us! It was such a lovely gesture! The Hilton is the first hotel outside of downtown disney, it's about a 3 minute walk from the hotel, because its so close no need to eat at the hotel for dinner every meal, however the food at the hotel is very good. On a side note the food inside the disney parks is very very good if you can hold off, have breakfast or lunch there! The pool is nice but modest. Most people are at the parks during the day so it is nice and quiet! The transportation to ALL the parks come every half hour via a bus. Very nice feature as there is no extra cost, I read another comment that says the bus makes many stops at other hotels, yes this is true but it is only the hotels along the same side of the street as the hilton, and we found no inconvienence. It beats having to pay for a cab! Which is one thing I should mention, the town car cabs they have waiting at the hotel charge you more than a normal taxi, if you need a taxi call a company called Maingate, they are reasonably priced! Our room overlooked the pool and downtown disney, and at about 9:00pm you could see the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom and Epcot! It was just like you would see in a movie! Great place to Stay!

As a frequent solo traveler I choose Hilton because they are generally well staffed and secure. Not so for this one. THere are several unsecured entrances from all sides of the hotel and access to guest floors is also unsecured. Each night of the 6 nights I was there I had solicitors slipping things under my door and 3 times they attempted to see if my door was locked by pushing on it (ALWAYS ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOUR DOOR "Catches" when you close it!) I reported it and was told "yes - there is a problem with that but there is nothing we can do to catch them as they can enter from multiple locations - they are people who these companies pick up off the streets to distribute their literature and we cannot catch them" - so they are aware of the problem! I never saw a security person the entire time I stayed and was not given even a passing glance as I entered from any of the doors by staff so I am not sure how hard they "try to catch" these people. THe King room itself was on the verge of needing a refresh and was fairly clean but with lingering smoke smell even though this is a non-smoking hotel. THe restaurants are expensive and the food was not that great. THe best parts of the hotel was the pool and fitness area and the proximity to DIsney. Make sure you lock up any valuables in your room as I saw housekeeping prop open doors of occupied rooms and walk away from them.

Just got back from a one-night stay. Completely enjoyed it. Able to check in 2 hours early. Very nice staff and workers. Could walk to Downtown Disney, which would be good to avoid parking issues. Room was very nice and clean: beds comfortable, great comfy pillows, 2nd sink outside bathroom with makeup mirror. View of Disney fireworks at 10 p.m. Had ice cream downstairs, which was great. Parking not an issue, just go in main entrance rather than through parking gate entrance. After reading MANY negative reviews about other hotels we finally chose this one. We were not disappointed in any way.
