Our truck was broken into while parked at the hotel over the weekend. We called management and were in touch with him while on vacation but when we returned to town the manager on duty had no clue what happened and no clue what to do. Besides receiving an "I'm sorry" nothing has been done to help with this matter. Trying to get copies of forms that were filled out is like pulling teeth. "Oh the manager is with a customer so leave a message and he will call you right back." Really??? because when we stayed there you could go bowling in the lobby and not hit a sole...so really he is busy? Along with this the rooms are falling apart - cracked sinks, wall paper pealing, towel racks falling off the wall, uncomfortable, hello 1940s. Think twice about staying here. Pick a hotel with a fenced in lot.

The only things this hotel has going for are: - The nice bed. Nice sheet, nice comforter, and nice pillow. - The front desk people are nice. - It's across the street from the airport. Other than that, the whole place smells. Especially the hallways. We stayed in this hotel one night as we flew into Milwaukee late, and one night the night before our return flight. On our first stay, I noticed the bathtub that didn't have water in it previously (because we had just checked in an hour before), all of the sudden had a little bit of water in it. Then, I noticed that each time we flushed the toilet, water came into the bathtub! They sent a maintenance guy up who determined we had to move to another room. That was okay, things happen, and they did take care of us in that way. Another icky thing is the bathroom floors were sticky and in general, the room wasn't real clean. Also, the shower head is so low I had to bend in an awkward way to was my hair. The only reason we stayed there again the night before our return flight is because staying close makes it easier to get to the airport early in the morning.

While the rate was very good, it was a long hike to our room through 4 hallways on two levels. The room was very dated with no control of the room temp. Tried to turn down the temp with to no avail. When we got to our room on the second night, the room key did not work. Had to make the long hike back to the desk to get it reprogrammed. Parking is also a long way from the room. Large complex with multiple buildings connected by walkways. Was previously several hotels now merged into one. Rooms and hallways need serious updating. Room was clean but old. Ice machine was two floors and one building away. You get what you pay for.
