  The hotel was an ok value. The room smelled like grandma's old house. Once we got the air on the smell went away. The room probably had not been use recently and needed to be aired out. The carpet was old and bunched in places. The shower had hot/cold spurts. The bed was clean. The breakfast was great. Eggs and pancakes made to order. There was also juice, coffee, toast, and cereal. Was it the best of places, no; but there are much worse out there. We definately got what we paid for.

  I read a lot of reviews but this is the 1st one I've written. I read reviews before staying here so I guess it's my fault. :-) I wanted the cheapest stay possible. I got it. The non-smoking room had an ashtray in it and smelled of smoke. The hotel shows it's age. My air conditioner didn't work although they sent someone to fix it and it was only a breaker. The carpet is buckled and needs replacing. All in all the room met my minimum requirements of being decently clean. If I had it to do over again I would rather pay $* or $* more per night for a better quality room. This motel seems to be in bad need of a remodel.

  Econolodge north was very disappointing. room had bugs, bad odor and loud traffic noise. changed room to another further from traffic w/o bugs. bedding insufficient. breakfast was filling but ...

  EconoLodge North was very disappointing. Room had bugs, bad odor and loud traffic noise. Changed room to another further from traffic w/o bugs. Bedding insufficient. Breakfast was filling but not to my liking.

  We made the reservation the day before we arrived and our room was ready for us. room was clean and had no problems while there.

  Hotel was great and convenient to washington dc and kings dominion. price was great also. nice breatkfast. would definitely stay here again.
