I was initially given a room that had an adjoining door and two beds. Went back downstairs and asked to be changed to a King with no adjoining room. It was granted and I went from the 2nd floor to the 4th. The room was lovely - bathroom excellent. Did not receive a receipt under door - and when I checked my bank balance, I noticed that $* was held for three days (which I suppose is routine). Only powdered cream in room - front desk didn't have another option. This hotel is convenient to the highway, airport and numerous Starbucks !!!!!

I stayed two nights and enjoyed both. The hotel was quiet, secure and clean. I could see they have been updating the place so the rooms and bath were nice. Staff was very helpful. It has a decent restaurant downstairs plus plenty within short walking distance. I was very pleased with the hotel.

We came to get a visa at one of the embassy's in D.C.. We used the Shuttle service to and from airport. Easy to use just had to wait a while for him to come back on first pickup. I had just missed him so the wait was a good 30minutes.. But the hotel was good. Room wasn't bad for the price we got. But we had tried to get a movie one night and it was terrible. It kept causing the T.V. to go out. We had to have someone come up to the room and reset our T.V twice.. So after the second try we gave up. What I didn't like at all was they still tried to charge us on the movie we never watched. They did take it off once my husband brought it to their attention. The restaurant Houlihan's in the hotel was really good on food and wait staff seemed to be very accommodating. We used the Bus Metro system to get us over to the Subway/Metro and it was really easy to use. Really helped with keeping the cost down for taxi's. So highly recommend hotel location in that sense to get back and forth. To pick up bus was right in front of the Wendy's fast food chain which was next to hotel . For some reason they have pool restrictions on when you can swim. Basically in the middle of the day you can't! I think it is because their is no lifeguard. Not for sure exactly why. So if a pool is a big deal when you travel ,,,,,that could be a problem. Should double check on that. Overall it was a good stay. I would recommend the hotel to stay at.
