This hotel was definitely worth the price we paid to stay for two nights. We were not expecting luxury, just a comfortable and clean place to stay for the weekend. The room as well as the bathroom was clean, although it smelled like smoke when we arrived. A little surprising considering it was a non-smoking room. We let the A/C run for a few hours while we were out and the smell went away. I could tell the room was recently remodeled. The room was actually a large room compared to most other hotels so there was plenty of space. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities included. The TV had a nice selection of cable channels, more than the typical 12 channels. There were no paid movies available; however HBO was available to watch. There was a refrigerator, microwave, dining set and coffee maker in the room. The beds in our room were actually too soft (as far as our preference for beds go). The continental breakfast was good. They offered muffins, juice, and coffee. Guests could also make waffles if they chose. The front desk ladies were friendly and accommodating. The only complaint I have about this property was the housekeeping service. I was disappointed that they didn't try to eliminate the smoke smell in the room before we arrived. They also did not restock the bathroom with washcloths when they cleaned and they did not replenish the items for the in-room coffee maker either. Since we left the second day, I didn't take the time to say anything to management. Overall, if you are not looking for luxury or an upscale fancy hotel, this property would be a good choice.

I spent a week at this Days Inn in March 2010. A new family had purchased the property and they were making major renovations. All of the staff members were friendly competent and very accomadating. I felt very safe in the neighborhood and plan to return for a week in April 2011.

I wish I'd stayed somewhere else... I've stayed in alot of places that people might consider to be pretty bad hotels. Usually I figure that since I only need a place to sleep anything will be fine. I have to say that this place was the worst hotel I've stayed in, and that's by my non-existent standards. The outside of the place was really run down and seedy looking, the room smelled, and the beds were totally beat to death. The room was really dark and musty, and the bathroom had seen better days. The towels were really thin and itchy, and I wasn't even able to take a hot shower, the best i could muster was 'cool'. There was mold in the bathroom from the humid environment, and the fan made a lot of noise but didn't do anything to actually ventilate the room. I think that given the poor condition of this place the price was way out of line. I spent close to $** for a night, but I think half of that still would have been strong for this place. Plus they ended up double charging me and I'm still trying to get that straightened out.
