  I have stayed here many nights over the past couple of years. The staff is terrific and the free breakfast in nice and convenient. There is also a coffee shop being built right next door. The place lives up to its name - and is a good value.

  The room was clean, but it smelled because it was a smoking room even though I had reserved a non-smoking room. The bed was okay, but far from what I hoped for, considering the room price. The carpet was terrible. It turned the bottom of my white socks black. I have no other complaints, but the carpet alone is enough to make me not want to stay there again.
  
  I travel with my own sheet just in case a hotel room is a lot worse than I expect, but I didn't feel the need to use it here. But I slept with socks on so I wouldn't have to walk on the carpet with bare feet.

  The Comfort INN was a very decent and affordable place to stay while visiting family. The service was prompt and freindly. The fridge was decent sized and plenty of resturaunts in close proximity. The only downfall was our microwave couldnt heat up popcorn and took a long time to heat up.

  I have no complaints. My room was immaculate. The staff was very professional and responsive. The workout facilities were well maintained and clean. I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The next time I visit Norfolk or Portsmouth I plan to stay at the Comfort Inn.
