  I have stayed at Comfort Inns many times including this one every year for several days over the Memorial Day Holiday weekend. It is always over crowded to the point it makes it virtually impossible to get into the breakfast bar. This year I received notice that my sister had a heart attack while I was staying. I talked to the front desk about checking me out early and they refused. I asked to speak to the manager and again they refused to even let me speak to them! They gave me a card and told me to call during regular business hours. I called them and they told me that there is no management staff on duty on the weekends and the housecleaning staff is gone after 2. They would NOT refund my money even considering the circumstances. I emailed corporate and NEVER received a response. I will NEVER stay at another Comfort Inn!

  It"s not a 5 star or a 4 star hotel, but... it was a comfortable few nights sleep while my family attended a wedding/family reunion in D.C. We had a roomy handicapped suite, although the suites are all smoking optional. Asthetically, the hotel is in need of some renovations or at least some fresh decorating and furniture; i.e, the couch in the suite we had had a rip in it. Biggest plus...it was a comfortable room, and we had a very cozy bed/bedding. If you are looking for a *decent* stop-over that isn"t too far from D.C, it really was a good value for the money.
