  Pros: room was clean and adequate... once you got to your room cons: only thing working well appeared to be the copier that needed to print out 'out of order' ...

  Pros: Room was clean and adequate... once you got to your room Cons: Only thing working well appeared to be the copier that needed to print out 'Out of Order' signs. One of two elevators for a 6-story hotel was out of order through-out may stay. Multiple vending machines were 'out of order'. Hallways were hot, damp and dirty.

  Hotel is filthy and smells bad. The employees were not at all helpful. I asked for a non-smoking room. Despite having many open rooms on several floors, they put me right next to the only smoking area in the hotel.
  The shuttle to public transit did not show up when scheduled. The staff said the cab fare would be reimbursed but I had to argue with them to get it back. In the evening, I called the hotel to inquire about arrival of the shuttle and was told repeatedly that they would be there any minute. They never did show.
  A meal ticket is provided for the breakfast. The food was lousy and the service even worse.
  The elevators sound and look like they are about to quit working any minute.
  The carpet looks horrible and the rooms are dumpy. The bed was uncomfortable and the linens were nasty.
  I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

  I stayed here on a business trip. The rooms show considerable wear and the smell of the public areas will leave you wondering where the housekeeping service is. Don't expect a decent night's sleep on the boards they call ""beds"". The housekeeping is questionable in that they left an empty condom box laying on the floor from the previous persons at check in. The area around the hotel is a traffic nightmare! Stay closer to DC if you get the chance, Old Town Alexandria seemed much nicer.
