I booked through travel agency and did not notice that buried in the "amentities" was an abbreviation for the room being a smoking room. We needed to switch to non-smoking and at first they said none were available. Then all the sudden he said he had one, but that it was a $* upcharge. I can't prove it, but I'm willing to bet that it was the same room that we had booked and he just jacked the rate up. At this price, the room was completely not worth it. The room was so-so and the breakfast was meidocre. The area of town also did not appear to be the best or safest. On top of all that, I came to find out that they double billed me for the room. In addation to the upcharge, they charged me again for the room and I am now and going through a CC dispute to get the charge removed.

I was looking for last-minute hotel online for traveling college daughter in need of safe place to stay the night. She said this place was a tad convoluted to get to but worth it. The staff couldn't have been nicer. They had a washer/dryer available, even shifted her to a non-smoking room at check-in (which I couldn't locate online through Travel Website. Good deal. Safe stay. Decent breakfast. Well done.

For the price we thought it was a place worth considering the next time we are in Kansas City. At first we were just a little concerned because the flowers and plants outside when you drive up looked rather scruffy. The room and service was fine though.

The motel is located in a quiet part of town about 7 miles from downtow. It was very clean, quiet and a decent sized room. The room included a fast wireless connection, a microwave, a refrigerator, coffee machine and plenty of towels. The motel is family owned and they show pride in their business. They also had nice breakfast in the morning with a large TV to watch the news. The Travel online price was great for this quality of room.

I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely come back now that I know this motel exists at that exit. You are in for a surprise when you enter because everything seems new and the beds were very comfortable. Nice breakfast and the staff is very friendly...see you soon : ).
