  We found the Best Western Mt. Vernon to be clean, friendly, and with a terrific full breakfast provided every mornng - eggs, pancakes, etc. Front desk people were the friendliest ever. Excellent for the money and not that far from Old Town, Alexandria, and the Metro into DC.

  This hotel was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the continental breakfast was more than some more expensive hotels offer. The king size bed was wonderful - nice and soft. They gave PLENTY of pillows, unlike some hotels. There was a microwave and fridge in the room too! For $**/night, it was well worth it. Wireless internet would have been a nice feature and is the only thing that keeps me from giving it a perfect rating! It's a short ride to Mount Vernon, Fort Belvior and the Springfield Metro train station, so it's location is perfect.

  The room was clean and well furnished. The bed was comfortable. Friendly helpful service at the front desk. Breakfast was good but not extraordinary. Plenty of free parking. One computer in the lobby for use by the guests. Several local restaurants and fast food extablishments nearby. Very good value for the price. We would stay there again.
