I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel for business. The Front Desk staff were very pleasant upon check-in - they were fast, friendly and efficient. They provided me with an upgrade to a corner room and the room turned out to really nice. The extra "elbow" room let me spread out my work. The room was very clean, which was a huge positive as I am a a big stickler on room cleanliness. The hotel also had a computer station set-up for online airline check-ins, where I could print-up my boarding passes also. I wish more hotels would offer this "amenity"! Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend it to those who stay in Seattle.

I was in Seattle on business and was throughly pleased with my stay at this hotel. Comfortable, large rooms, kind staff, speedy internet. I had a few hours off and it was just a short walk to Pike Place Market and a plethora of other shopping. I would stay again for either biz or pleasure!

Hotel was fine with the prevalent overpriced room service, snacks, and business center. I had hoped to see a bit of the nicer parts of the city. These were shops and the bay within walking distance, but there are better locations for tourists to stay. (I'm pretty sure.) This is in an area of "skyscrapers".

A nice hotel to stay at. Desk service was friendly, rooms was clean, shower was awesome. There is a bar downstairs, and in the morning they serve starbucks coffee (for the usual ridiculous price). Location is nice, although it is right next to the freeway. Walking distance to the library, Pikes Place Market, Underground tour, ferries. If you like pillows, this is the place for you. The bed has about 8 pillows on it... One thing to watch out for... Parking. One thing they won't tell you when you check in is that their underground parking is $* per day... Plus 22% tax. That's $* PER DAY to park your car. The first time you hear about this will be on the day you check out when they kindly slip the bill under your door. I thought it was outrageous, so I complained and they removed one of the day's charges.

Truly agreeable staff that consistently went out of their way to be helpful and courteous during my weekend at this hotel. In a time of cut backs in service and amenities, this hotel spared nothing. Generous hours for parking after checkout, 28th floor pool/spa with a beautiful and relaxing view of the city, and a staff that catered to my every need turned what could have been a humdrum weekend in Seattle to a pretty good time. The room was comfortable, and though you could see signs of a design overhaul, the modern furniture and fixtures looked nice and suited the room. I think I will consistently choose this hotel again, even over the many boutique hotels Seattle offers, which I would typically gravitate towards.
