Excellent hotel for a three night stay. Wake-up service was great, restaurant was excellent, business center was helpful, and the staff were friendly and responsive. I also had a veiw of the sunrise over teh lake.

I booked the Fairmont for a my wife's 25th birthday weekend for us and a couple of friends. After reviewing the other hotels in Chicago in the same general area, I chose the Fairmont hotel because of the reviews (mostly all good but even the negative ones seemed more exceptional and nit pickey) and the pictures (both trip advisor and Travel agency). booking was easy and calling to confirm was a cinch. The rooms were quite nice and the beds helped us get a great night sleep. The bathroom was big and one of the nicest ones I've experienced. The view was of city buildings but we didn't care. The TV (large LCD flat screen) and channel package were a nice touch. The front dest and concierge were both friendly and helpful to what were probably very normal guests. I would stay there again. If pinching every penny matters then know that the Fairmont will hold a $* incidental charge on your account for a few days after but then it will drop off.

My stay was great. In room dining was excellent. The service was excellent. The hotel is connected to the AON building which was very convenient. I did have a maid knock and walk into my room without waiting for an answer. Other than that, everything was perfect.

I have stayed at many Fairmonts, but usually paid full price. I booked as part of a vacation package with Travelocity and was pleasantly surprised that the room and service I received was the same as if I had paid full price. This hotel is conveniently located to the Mag Mile. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. The room was very spacious. Would definitely stay here when visiting Chicago again.
