This hotel was a gem about 5 years ago in appearance and services. Its still 'ok' but I have some concerns that management is allowing this hotel to decline. Its main selling points are that its off the street, relatively quiet from traffic and appears to be in a safe location. The bedspreads are the same ones that were used on my stay 5 years ago (that or they bought an awful lot of the same patterned bedspreads, which I don't think is the case). The room carpet was in a good need for shampooing. I had white socks on at night and they were filthy after an evening of walking around the room. How difficult is it to periodically shampoo a carpet?? Beware of the "high-speed wifi", after paying your $* per stay and signing on, the page immediately asks you if you want a better internet connection... for an extra $* or so. Anything to make a buck.

The room was nice and spacious. The bad seemed like an "Outer-spring-matress"! Worst hotel bed ever. I ended up using the couch pull out bed. It had similar kind of matress but was less worn. The dishes and pans were stained terribly but usable. Large (for a hotel) fridge. Property was very clean and the people at the desk were very nice. I had a very good price, but it wasn't worth it at all.

Scottsdale can be costly. This hotel was of good quality for the star rating and price. The hotel has clean, very nice rooms with kitchenette, and living area. Outdoor pool has shade from the heat (90 during my stay in April) and BBQ area. The hotel is slightly off the main road, so it was very quiet. Plenty of parking. Good size room for money. The wild bunnies running around on the grass were delightful.

We worked in the area for 2.5 weeks and this facility worked well for us. Front desk was friendly with directions, local restraunt advice, etc. Rooms were comfortable and never felt cramped for the long stay. Laundry room was convenient and fitness room well equipped. The once a week housekeeping is kind of a let down but the front desk was always helpful with any supplies we needed such as more towels or soaps. The only 'surprise' was when the nightly rate went up for the last 2 nights of our stay when we were not informed that this would happen when we made the reservation.
