Bally's in LV is in need of seroius help. The rooms are old and dated. Looks like they have not been updated in more than a decade. The same would be true of the bathrooms. But one might foirgive this if the rug was clean or the service was better. For example, how can a "4 Star" Hotel, allow room service trays to remain in the hall for mor than 10 hour? THe brown rug in both the hall and the room was fithy....in the room it was a second color uder a table .. indicating that the staff just did not care enough to vacume the entire room. Finally the no smoking room smelt like tobacco smoke.

both companys dropped the ball on my wedding day/ travel velocity sent us through millwaukkeee on a blizzard that we got stuck and got to sleep on the airport floor for our first night. then when we reached vegas a day later we culdnt get ballys or travel website to credit us an extra day they both blamed each other. then travel website tryed to give us the reason that they wouldnt take the loss of a night so we had to pay for another night at the ballys which was hole another * after a week of losses then to top it off they made us move another toroom. over all we really enjoyed the vac but the way we were treated by both companys was really poor, i mean if ballys can comp players for using thier player cards you would belive they could a give person a night they paid for.[ im not saying im just saying] hats pretty bad bussiness to me,and if travel website really cared about return customers you would think that they would make arrangements to compensate ballys with the money we already paid. But one company did stand good for all the inconvience, Frontier airlines got us out the first flight the next morning, along with extending our return flight one day plus gave us a *dollar voucher off our next flight. now that to me is more than compensation if i were Frontier i would really be leary of attaching my compny name with either of the other companys involved my name is bobby hatfield and i do want to say thanks to frontier for showing what a first class act is maybe both ballys and travel website will read and ask how its done.

everything was nice the location and room were perfect, don't listen to any negitive reviews about this hotel, the people are either stuck up or they thought they were getting a 5 star hotel for a 3 star price. no smoking rooms were clean and smelled fresh, would stay in this hotel again.

In terms of location, it’s right on the strip and pretty much close to everything. Price per night was appealing and that’s why I went for it. BIG mistake. I would have rather paid $* or more per night and stayed at The Venetian or Bellagio accross. If you are in the same booking dilemma don’t hesitate to book something a bit more expensive. It will be worth it. The room had partial view of the strip which wasn’t bad. Hotel people were friendly from the front desk to the bell man. Still all that will never make up for the dumpster room condition. Rooms are old carpet from the 70’s that stinks and is flaking. Vacuuming and whatever they do to it just makes it even worse. The air circulation is horrible; you’ll wake up in the morning with a bloody nose from all the dry air. The bathroom had mold and pealing wallpaper all over; old furnishings and tiles of 1970’s. No bathroom ventilation whatsoever. Seriously this place is in DESPARATE need of repair/remodeling. You dread coming back to the room, that’s how bad it was. To be honest, I think it’s a health hazard altogether, especially for individuals who might be allergic. This place might have been decent in it’s heyday (1970s that is) but not now. To anyone considering Bally’s I suggest pay a bit more and go to a better hotel. You’ll thank yourself and the people you’re with will thank you. There is nothing better than a decent room and hotel to crash after a long day out. Bally’s is far far from that. Don’t mess up your good time in Vegas. I’ll never book this place again when I come back to Vegas.
