Our family of 6 stayed for a short trip to Washington and LOVED our room. The suite was equipped with a small kitchen and the bedroom and living space were separate, allowing privacy! We will definitely stay at a Homewood Suites again. I am actually traveling quite a bit in the near future and am planning on staying in a Homewood Suites each time I travel! Fantastic!!!!!

Our family just spent a week exploring DC, and stayed at the Homewood Alexandria. The hotel offered everything we needed for a family of 6. The two room, two bath suite accommodated our family well, and offered plenty of room for us to spread out when we returned each night with a living area and a small kitchen. The continental breakfast was the best we have ever had, offering a wide variety of choices from eggs and sausage/bacon, fresh fruit each morning, a variety of breads, freshly made waffles, plenty of juice, milk and coffee. In addition, on weekday evenings, there is a manager's reception which was ample enough to be our supper each night. After the reception, fresh-baked cookies are set out to enjoy at your leisure. There is plenty of room in the main area of the hotel to relax and read the paper, watch tv, or visit with each other. There is a busstop .1 mile from the hotel which takes you to the metro where you can travel to any part of the city. There is nothing about this hotel I would improve on, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They even loaned us an umbrella one morning when it was raining. A great place to stay!

We had a horrible experience with a hotel down the street and ended up at the Homewood Suites (4850 Leesburg Pike) in the wee hours of the night. What an incredible hotel. The night staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was one of the nicest we've stayed in...extremely clean, well decorated, fresh, new, etc. The super-deluxe breakfast buffet was incredible, too. It was a great experience!

I had requested a specific type of room since I had 2 teenage kids with me and needed some space. We had no complaints what so ever with the staff or management. Everything was above what we had expected!! Would highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms were as expected for the Homewood SuitesAll updated bedding and some furnishings were not brand new. The pool closed a little early for the weekend and after a long day of walking around the National Zoo in 100 degree temps. The pool was very needed and it was closed. I think 10pm would allow folks enough time to have a swim after finding a place to eat dinner and returning for the night. Also only 2 jets out of seven or more in the hot tub were not working. The hot tub area is also very small and uncomfortable with room enough for only two chairs on the deck.The location was near several plazas that had places to shop and eat.
