We just returned from Disneyland and couldn`t be more happy with our hotel choice. With 2 kids aged 5 and 8 and two grandparents, it was a full house. We stayed in the Penthouse suite which had one bedroom with 2 queens and a loft bedroom with king bed (each having there own bathroom!!). There is also a pull out sofa so you could sleep 8 if you had to but would be a bit tight. The full kitchen with dishwasher was a god send and I don`t think we will stay without one again. There`s a small onsite store for basics or grocery stores not far away. There is also a shuttle to disneyland on site which was so critical even though you could walk to disney if you chose to. Hot buffet breakfast every morning with a waffle bar, shallow kiddies pool along with regular size and small playground. Weekly free events such as cookie night and barbeque night (hamburgers, hotdogs, salads etc.). We also used the barbeque`s ourselves one night and made hamburgers which was a welcome change from Disney food. There is a disney desk in the lobby that sells bus passes and tickets. Unfortunately we decided to wing it on our arrival with a taxi from LAX ($90). Not a good choice...there is a shuttle you can book which we took on our return and was $64 for 4. Parking and wifi were both free. We took the advice of a few travel sites and came back to the hotel for naps and then returned in the evening. Not only was this critical for the kids, but also for the adults. This hotel choice made our 1st Disney trip very comfortable and memorable. Would definately book this hotel again!!

We stayed for Five days and were over all very happy with our Studio Guest room. It was lovely and comfey and housekeepers were awesome. It is a easy walk to Disneyland but you can pay for the Shuttle $* per person. We had a little dog which they allowed with fee. Disneyland has a wonderful kennel for $* per day. Breakfast was decent. Parking seemed to be takened up at times by locals wanting to use the pool and access to Disney. Our last night the pool was taken over by graduating high school students...not happy about that. However, we would probably stay again but negotiate the daily rate...they charged a higher rate than what we could get online... Oh, close to several restaurants and shopping.

This hotel was a nice surprise. Every trip to Disney starts with a hotel search and up until now The Embassy Suites was the winner. We are a family of four, including two teenages. A few things the Residence Inn tops over Embassy are...the accomodations, the location, and the price. We had a King loft with a separate bedroom downstairs (with 2 queen beds), a sofa sitting area, a kitchen and two bathrooms. We all like to have our space and this hotel was great. We drove to Disney the first day and it took us over a half hour to get into the park. We walked the next day and it was only 15 minutes! At the Embassy, we would have needed two suites to have this amount of space and we would have to wait for the shuttle to get to the park. Here, we all were able to enjoy our time together and saved alot of time and $$ on hotel and transportation. We did not have cooked to order breakfast, but I was impressed with the array of daily breakfast options. The rooms are aged, but the value was excellent!

We had a fab. time at the Residence marriott. We are a family of 7 and got the Penthouse family suite it was very roomy for us. We have stayed at many hotels in the passed and never had that much room. We had a travel crib and a stroller in the room every night and still had plenty of room. The rooms and the hotel was very clean. I loved the convenience of having the kitchen in the room and washer and drier at the hotel. The kids loved the basketball and volleyball court. The grounds around the hotel were well maintained and had beautifull flowers. We stayed 4 nights and it was very close to disney and the garden walk shopping center. The one nagative thing was the breakfast buffet was taken down by 9:30. But the hotel staff did graciously give the kids cereal bowls, cereal and milk.

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. The room we had was fantastic- two story, two bedroom with fully equiped kitchen and a small living room. The room was in very good condition and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent with so much variety to chose from. The hotel staff was friendly and so helpful. If Disneyland is your destination, this hotel is within a short walking distance and very safe to walk at night. I will certainly return to this hotel my next trip to Anaheim.
