Arrived on a Sunday for a 5 day stay. Upon check-in asked for a room upgrade and got a room with a view to die for. The room was on the 24th floor overlooking the Eldorado and the Reno valley. Could see as far as the airport as well as the Trukee River and the Reno Aces ball field. I found the staff to be helpful and courteous at all times. The casino was entertaining and well planned. There is always something going on here or at the other two connected hotel/casinos. There is a variety of restaurants from buffet to gourmet and several bars/night clubs. If by chance you get bored here there are several other casinos within walking distance. In fact I hit a jackpot large enough to pay for my trip at another casino. Overall a VERY positive experience. I am already planning my return trip to The Silver Legacy.

I stayed in the hotel with my family during our ski trip. Since it was Christmas break, the hotel was really crowded, long lines for getting on elevators, check-in, check-out and of course for restaurants! - The parking is FREE but you may end up finding a spot on the 10th floor. -The Internet is also FREE but it was down or really slow during our stay. -Room itself was clean and neat, maybe not as nice as I expected but nothing bad about it.

Silver Legacy Hotel
06/01/2010We booked our room with a king bed prepaid with credit card, when we got to the hotel, they told us they could not guarantee or give us that room. ...
We booked our room with a king bed prepaid with credit card, when we got to the hotel, they told us they could not guarantee or give us that room. They gave us a room with two full beds, and when we asked for a king, they said sorry, all sold out. We went up to room, key card did not work, sent a bus boy up, his key did not work either. We went to the front desk and somehow a room with a king bed opened for our troubles. I was confused because we had reserved and booked the room with a king but not until we had "problems" did the room we requested and paid for open up. They acted like they did us a favor! Is this a problem with booking through travel online? This happened to us once before and it is frustrating when you think you are booking one thing and when you get to the hotel, you are told they cannot guarantee.
