Important Hotel Information
- All hotel guests will be responsible for paying the property's mandatory resort service package of 14.00 USD (plus tax) daily resort fee at the time of check-in. The resort fee covers up to 60 minutes local telephone calls, all toll-free and credit card access calls, unlimited access to health club facilities, in-room high-speed Internet access, 2 bottles of water daily, and 20 minutes of domestic long distance daily.
Self parking is 15 per day or valet parking is 20 per day.

My family stayed at the hotel for a 10 day vacation starting March 28 and ending April 6. We arrived mid afternoon to an absolutely huge complex in which the Dolphin and Swan share many of the same amenities ex. beach, pool (actually 3 pools, 2 hot tubs and a water slide) and boat transportation. To put it mildly we had a great time and were very happy with the choice in selecting this hotel. The hotel was always spotless whether the lobby, the hallways and especially our rooms. There are a number of restaurants on the grounds that should fit just about any budget. Just remember that things like meals will be more expensive. There is free transportation to all the Disney parks including the water parks and Downtown Disney. There was, however, no easy access to some of the other parks such as Universal or Sea World which were high on our list. Taking a cab resolved this issue and was reasonably priced especially when including a respectable tip. One thing to remember, this is not a Disney hotel it is in fact owned by Sheridan. What this means to you is that there is no complimentary transportation from the airport to the hotel as is offered by "real" Disney hotels. Not a big deal but in choosing Meats for this purpose it was another $* expense. All in all we had a great time. The Dolphin is an excellent choice for vacationers especially if travelling with kids. The food was great, though a bit pricey, the staff were friendly and helpful, the facility was a dream. We left with sad but satisfied faces. A good choice hotel.

It is a great place to stay if you are at vacation at Disney; the rooms are clean and comfortable. The added benefit of Extra Magical Hour at different park during different days are a plus, also the free transportation from resort to theme park is also included. Some down-sides are no free shuttle to-from the airport to the resort, and the 24 hour food court has very limited selection during late night hours. The extra $*a day service charge is a decent deal, which includes internet service and 2 bottles of water. Overall it is a great place to stay

This hotel was nice... however, if you are looking for the family/disney hotel where they say have a magical day.. and can i help you as you are in the lobby... this hotel was business geared verses the family. very nice but we missed fun family friendly greeting type atmosphere... that we have experience at the other properties in the area. the pools are great! the ice cream is fabulous... the location was pretty good very easy/fast to get to epcot and hollywood studios... ABC at the front desk was exceptionally good to us!

The Dolphin is a wonderful place to stay for business or pleasure. Easy access to Disney's Epcot and Boardwalk so you don't have to drive anywhere, great restaurants (Todd English's Blue Zoo is fabulous!) right on property, lovely pool area all made for a wonderful stay. Hotel is so spacious we never felt crowded even though there was a convention when we were there, staff was helpful and friendly. Nice touch that you could use computers/printers in lobby to print boarding passes, too. Only downside - you have to pay for parking ($*/day I think?), I expect that only in city hotels. Other than that a good value and close to lots of activity, yet lovely and peaceful.

My recent visit to Orlando and stay at the Dolphin Hotel with my 80 year old father, on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate an 8 ! The accomodations were more than acceptable, clean and comfortable (esp the beds), guest services very attentive and well organized, with the property perfectly manicured and well maintained. Food in the hotel restaurants, good, although having been in the food industry myself, I am very particular about the quality to price ratio, which I consider to be on the high side. If you are a Dunkin Donuts Coffee drinker like I am, this resort is NOT the place to stay. The contract is for Starbucks throughout the entire complex, and as a matter of fact for all Starwood Hotels. This is a major point of contention, which would deter me from a return visit. Burnt, strong, coffee is just not how I choose to start the day off. May seem menial to some, but if I am paying $* for breakfast per person, I expect a good cup of coffee !
