  This was our first time here, although I had passed it many times as a child growing up in Cambridge, even eaten in the (then) restaurant. For an older building it is well maintained, and our room was large and comfy. Harvard Square and the T were 5 minutes by foot. Parking should have been advertised as partially on site and by 24 hour valet. Only two caveats: the bathroom was the tiniest I've ever encountered -- a small table outside the bathroom door would have helped; one humid day, the carpets in the hallway (but not the room) smelled like old socks.

  The Sheraton Commander in Cambridge was a wonderful mecca of friendly and wonderful service on a very snowy weekend. The room was lovely yet the bathroom though well equipped was quite small. I would say that was the only negative to the stay. Breakfast was very good and the valet service and parking was a great extra. Needless to say even in a snowstorm there is much to see and do in Cambridge (Harvard Square) and Boston was only a train ride away.
