The Marriott World Center in Orlando was a very beautiful hotel. I loved my room and looked forward to returning to it each evening (to get warm). Being the world's largest Marriott does has its negatives though. The walk from my room to the site of my meetings was extremely far. I'm certainly glad that I'm not one that has bad joints or walks with a cane. There were many elderly and obese that needed to rent motorized scooters just to get around ( at $*/day). The food was good, no complaints about that but extremely expensive. I was only one, but my meals always exceeded $*, even breakfast, and that was with a group discount. I found the hallways extremely cold. I mentioned it to one of the staff and they said it was to accommodate the busy staff cleaning the rooms. A lot of money could be saved by keeping the temperature at a comfortable level rather than running the a/c so forcefully. Luckily I could raise the temperature of my room to a comfortable level. The hotel is divided into "towers", north, east, west, south. I would definitely recommend the East Tower as that is centrally located to many of the various restaurants. I tried to get my room switched to it, but it was full. The restaurant staff was all very friendly, professional. If you're on a budget, this is not the place, but otherwise go and enjoy.

Wow, I've stayed at this Hotel twice and absolutely love it! The staff at check-in are absolutely great and the room was very nice and clean. I felt safe and well taken care of during my stay. My children loved the facilities and access to the pools, etc. The restaurant staff are very polite and helpful! The down side is the cost of self-parking and the distance to travel to your room from the parking garage. Also my AAA discount stated free breakfast for my family and I however at check-in I was told that was incorrect. So morning buffet was quite expensive and the quality of food wasn't that great. Plus, the pool closes at 11pm so if you get in late and wish for a late night soak at the pool or spa you can't do it. A little disappointing that the use of the facilities were limited that way. I would def. stay here again!

This is a luxury hotel with the WORST POSSIBLE INCONVENIENCES! Self parking is so far that you ride a shuttle, however, there is only 1 shuttle and so many people to ride that you have to wait - it takes 30+ minutes to get back and forth from the car. The elevators cannot handle the capacity - long waits, full elevators. The front desk staff does not expain the fees up front and ignores problems. There was no warm or hot water either morning or late at night. Check-in lines were entirely too long - not acceptable for a resort of this quality - no where near enough staff. The lobby area is a "ZOO" day and night, there are so many people - and no where to comfortably sit and wait for check-in, check-out or waiting for your car. The rooms/beds are comfortable, the building is attractive/impressive and there are pretty grounds, but the inconveniences are too great to get past, at least during the busy summer season. The resort is just too poorly designed and run to enjoy your stay - the way it should be.

We were at the Marriott World Center for a long week-end April 29th - May 5th of this year. I did extensive research online to find a hotel property that suited our needs wants while traveling with our three year old daughter. We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled into the entrance of the hotel that everything seemed to be exactly how we saw it on-line. We found the Marriott was clean nicely decorated. We had no issue with using the bellman to get our luggage up to our room. We were originally booked into a golf course view room but once there decided we would call the front desk to see if a pool view room was available for upgrading. Our stay was upgraded for a nominal fee. Well worth the money considering my husband and I used the balcony quite a bit in the evenings after our daughter had gone to sleep. We found the pool area to be nice. Pool temp was wonderful in fact one day it seemed a bit too warm but after inquiring found out that indeed the heaters were turned off it was just due to the extremely warm weather. Our daughter loved the water slide. The main pool was enormous. Two other pools to choose from as well #40one kids pool#41. On-site restaurants were wonderful! We took advantage of all except for the steakhouse. Nice assortment of options ~ even for our daughter. We took advantage of the valet service for our rental car. For not much more / day you have the convenience of coming going as you please. Proximity is very close to everything we wanted to see. Will definately be going back to this resort!

We were extremely pleased with our stay at the Orlando World Center Marriott. The regular guest rooms were spacious and very clean. There were plenty of restaurants on site. It was in close proximity to many venues. We would stay here again.
