The hotel is very nice, very clean, very comfortable. The staff is friendly, in an obsiquious way. There is NOTHING included with your room. You have to pay extra for every little thing, including wifi. Since this is the case, the room rates should be lower.

Thet originall put me in the Villas away from the main building. The room and location was not nice. I moved into the main building where all the activities were for an additional * per night. it was worth it. Very nice spa with private pool and saunas and steam and masseage area that was first class. They have a pub where the food prices are reasonable. Good location to many restaurants and beaches. marriott provides a shuttle to the TPC Golf course which is only a mile or so from the property. The beach has a large pool and a few restaurants but no food on monday and tues when i was there. Nice beach but the water was to cold to go in in early march. Overall, a very nice experience.

My husband and I went to stay at the Sawgrass Marriott this past December to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary. This was something that we both had been looking forward to for months. When I checked in I explained to the Front Desk Manager that we wanted a nice, quiet room. We went to the room and took about three steps in when we saw a huge cockroach on the floor. The manager rolled her eyes when she saw us walking back down with our luggage. We explained to her quietly what had happened and she told us that they had no other rooms we could move to and that they were "running a business" and that the only rooms left were reserved for "Marriott Gold & Platinum members". I then asked if there was a GM or someone else that could help and she insisted that they were all busy and were not available to assist. I asked her to have someone call me back at the room when they became available and they never did (we stayed for 5 nights). Beautiful facilities but the whole experience put a bad taste in out mouths- probably won't return. On a positive note, there was a very sweet operator that was very helpful and caring....just wish the management at the hotel had been the same.

I highly recommend this facility. The rooms were beautiful. The views were magnificent. Will surely use this facility in the future. Best of all the deal I received from travel agency was excellent. Dollar for dollar, it's the best money I've spent in a long time. Thank you.

I picked this hotel based on the pictures I saw and I was certainly not dissappointed! The hotel is beautiful modern and very comfortable. I stayed in the villas had one regular hotel room and it was very nice and clean. Interior is licht and refreshing. Only one bad thing from staying in the villas was that my room was connected to a bigger livingroom area #40locked doors in between#41 and when other guests moved in the next day it was very noisy. Now they were extremely loud but was wondering if the rooms in the main building were different as far as the sound goes. I enjoyed the beautiful park setting with the pools and the nice lounge areas. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Beach area very nice also. I only stayed there 3 days but would love to go back there again.
