  the room was clean, but smelled mildewed. The a/c did not get very cold and was loud. No continental breakfast or fridge as advertised. Only had decafe coffee in the room. Had to buy regular coffee from resturant.

  I requested a smoking room, no suprise it was disgusting. Stained walls and ceiling, a bug in the bed, a/c didn't work properly, and the water didn't get hot. The next night I requested a non-smoking room. The room was pleasant enough, but was located near the pool and the Red Fox Lounge - really noisy till 2am everynight. Don't stay near the pool if you want a good nights rest. The staff was helpfull, but the only real solution is to close the lounge patio after 10-11pm. I'm on room 3, I'll update if there are any more problems.

  If you have any needs or concerns, you'll be treated like a number. Emphasis on wedding parties & group bookings make it a noisy place. Staff and management have zero charm. Sink, shower, and tub knobs turn every which way, but the correct way. Lighting controls are nearly impossible to figure out. No guide for the TV, except what is published in the local paper. Will look for nicer, friendlier place.

  I stayed at this hotel for two nights while in town on business. Excellent Winter Park location. Hotel was very clean but badly in need of updating. I didn't check it out, but I heard there is a good singing act in the lounge at night on the weekends.
