I have stayed here many times: this property is conveniently located, safe, great views from almost any room, clean and generally well-managed. However, this weekend, they evidently were the host hotel for a convention: 30 minute wait in the check-in line and 15 minute lines for the elevator. Reception was poorly staffed, and then only with two very poorly trained persons. It was obvious they were overwhelmed. One member of the front staff delayed check-in further when he decided he would chat privately att the end of the check-in counter with a group of young ladies who were checking-in. The bed in the room was bad, and the shower ran cold and hot. It was a bad experience, from check-in until check-out. I will probably stay again, but it will be after phoning ahead to see how crowded the hotel will be.

Stayed 4 nights for conference in same hotel. Room was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. No mini-frig. No room safe. Internet connection is available for exorbitant price ($* a day). I used room service each night for dinner, it was reasonably priced and good.

We stayed at the Renaissance for one night to see a show at the Atlanta Civic Center. This is an excellent 5 star hotel with a 3 star price.. The staff were all helpful and friendly and the room was spacious and beautifully furnished and clean. I wish the hotel industry would get a clue and go to queen sized beds instead of full. The down side was the bed size for two adults and two young teens full is way too little. But it is like that in every hotel. The other down side is that the hotel is located in a pretty seedy area. Other than that we had a great stay and I would highly recommend this hotel. The price was very reasonable. The breakfast buffet was great and included in the room price. The wait staff in the restaruant were pleasant and helpful, as were housekeeping and the front desk. The concierge was probably the lease helpful and friendly of the bunch. Anyway great job Renaissance!

We loved our stay at this hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean including the bathroom. I am very picky when it comes to bathrooms. I had forgotten that the package I booked included breakfast so the people in the dinning room looked up my reservation and told me it was included when I was going to pay. The breakfast buffet was very nice with all sorts of hot and cold options along with fresh fruit,yogurt, etc... Not like the crapy breakfast buffets offered at other hotels. Overall we were very pleased and would stay again.
