We stayed for six nights and really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. My son loved the beds and it was hard for me to get him to leave the room! Very close to the White House and easy access to the Metro.

We really enjoyed our stay. We travelled to DC with our friends and their kids for Thanksgiving weekend. The staff was very gracious to us and were extremely gracious to our kids (8 in all). The front desk was very helpful in giving us rooms close together. Location is terrific. Hotel is clean and for the most part new. We plan on staying here again next Thanksgiving!

We enjoyed our stay at the Madison. It was clean, bed comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Ate at the Palette four times and the food and servers were great. (Especially Carlos) Overall was a wonderful experience. We have three things that stuck out as minor inconveniences. Asking for a small refrigerator in our room for a four night stay would have added $* to our bill. Internet also would have added a fee, so we used the free internet across the street at the Caribou Coffee. It is available in the hotel lobby, but we would have preferred it in our room and thought the cost was ridiculously high. Also the curtains do not have a darkening or privacy layer, so the room was bright quite early. We have stayed in many fine hotels across the US and were charged nothing additional for internet or refrigerator. Also they all had the darkening curtains or blinds. The Madison is easy walking distance to many restaurants and sights of DC if you like walking.

Extremely friendly and helpful hotel staff. Very comfortable rooms and beds, nice and quiet. Good location in proximity to major DC monuments and the Verizon Center. In a safe neighborhood with Metro stations closeby (5 min walk). Dining options somewhat pricey but food quality very good. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

We Stayed here 2 nights and from the minute we got there and the bellman took our luggage and the valet took my car, it was an awesome experience. Everyone was very nice and cheerful, and bent over backwards to do whatever we needed. When we got there, my kids and I had left something in the car and they retrieved my car let me get my things and reparked it for me. Breakfast was very expensive and was not that good, but the room was plush and comfortable, with a massage chair. The staff was even attentive to my 7 year old. It was overall a wonderful experience.
