Would Not Stay Again

We stayed at this hotel because we were taking my younger brother to the University of Pitt football camp, It was only about a 10 minute drive to the university which was great. The rooms, however, were a different storty. The rooms are very dimly lit and the had a musty smell. The morning of our first night we found small ants crawling in the bed. The front desk was very curtious and moved us to a different room. That room was very much the same as the first, smelled musty and very dim, but there were no bugs so we decided to deal with it. Later in the day we were sitting in our room watching TV, the housekeeper continued to walk pasted our room looking more annoyed each time until he decided to knock on the window to ask us to get out of the room so he can clean it. We decided to go grab some lunch in the mean time. When we got back he was just leaving the room. We opened the drawer of the end table to get the city guide to see what there was to do in Pittsburgh and discovered an ash tray hidden in that drawer with drug paraphernalia in it and this was after it was supposedly cleaned! The pool was closed all but one night we were there. The breakfast was decent, your standard continental breakfast.

This hotel is close to downtown, but not in a part of town where there is much to see or do. It's a hassle to get in and out of the parking lot, and it would probably have been easier to either spend the money for a hotel right in downtown or to get one a bit further away so it's easier to get on and off the highway. Honestly the only good thing was the price in comparison to other hotels in the area or right in downtown Pitts.

Our stay at your hotel was very pleasant. We liked the fact that there were restaurants very close too which made it very convenient for us. Everyone we met while checking in was also very nice and friendly. All in all it was very satisfactory.

We arrived a t 11:15 PM after an all day of travel, the day before Thanksgiving. No one was at the desk of the motel. After 20 minutes, a girl arrived and said that she was somewhere in the motel. When we opened the door of our motel room, we almost died. It was dingy, dirty, cramped and dark....very little lighting. When we turned down the sheets , they were stained and had several holes in them. It was horrible to stay there, but at midnight before Thanksgiving and a day beginning at 6AM, we felt trapped. We did leave Friday morning after Thanksgiving and moved into a beautiful, clean, motel for the rest of our stay.
