  The Comfort Inn at Camelback Road and I-17 in Phoenix was very clean, quiet,and was a great value for the money. The front desk clerk X was very courteous, helpful, and reservation and room were waiting for me as promised. Everything in the room worked properly, and the grounds were clean. A security patrol was visible at all hours (I worked late several nights), and gave me a sense of security. The hotel location was convenient to everything in Phoenix. I will choose the Comfort Inn again on my travels to Phoenix this year.

  The ac did not work in the room we were in the first night-very warm. reported this to the front desk in the am, said they would fix. came ...

  The AC did not work in the room we were in the first night-very warm. Reported this to the front desk in the AM, said they would fix. Came back in the afternoon, and AC still did not work. Reported to front desk and they said could not be fixed, so was reassigned to another room. The AC did not work in that room either, so was reassigned to yet another room. Third times the charm evidently. Also, in the first room, the faucet leaked and the toilet handle had to be held down until the flush was almost complete. Small things, but annoying. Bought a Reeses Peanut Butter cup in the vending machine in the lobby, and got back to the room and it was all melted. Again a small thing, but annoying.

  My wife and I recently stayed here while we attended Cactus League baseball games in the Phoenix-area. The hotel's location was excellent for getting to the games we wanted to see. Regarding the hotel, itself, we found it to be clean, the rooms comfortable,and the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Our first floor room faced a busy street, and late night traffic noise bothered us on a couple of occasions. In ou opinion, the free buffet breakfast that is served each morning is so-so. Concluding, we found this hotel to be acceptable and we'd like to stay here again. It's not a super fancy place, but its rates aren't going to break the bank, either.
